Bite Wafers
Carmel Bite Wafers are U-shaped bite registration waxes ideal for accurate tooth registration. They are used in the fabrication of orthodontic appliances and are disposable and non-sterile. The single-layered Bite Wafers without foil are designed to register patient bites and are used to check occlusal relationships. Laminated Bite Wafers are double-layered and have aluminum foil between the two layers of wax. Foil stabilizes the wafer to lessen distortion and prevent bite-through.
