Carmel Pure Beeswax is all-natural, triple-filtered, made without additives or synthetic ingredients, and maintains its natural, mild scent. Wicks are also pre-tabbed, containing a metal base to help them stand. Fastening stickers are for attaching the base of the pre-tabbed wicks (wick + metal base) to the bottom of the jar. (Jars not included, we recommend Mason Jars.) The centering devices that are included help to position the wick as the wax is cooling.

Beeswax - Candle Making Kits

Our Beeswax Candle Making Kits contain all the essential materials for crafting candles. Kits include beeswax beads, pre-waxed cotton wicks which are pre-tabbed, fastening stickers, and an aluminum centering device.

DIRECTIONS

  • Cut the long 8-inch (20.32 cm) wick to size.
  • Place your soy candle wax flakes in a microwave-safe container or simmer over medium-high heat, occasionally stirring as it is melting.
  • Melt the wax down and mix at 120 degrees to get started - if you want to add dyes or scents, raise the temperature to 180 degrees (or 185 degrees if the dyes do not fully melt). Prepare your jars and wicks.
  • Fasten the base of the pre-tabbed wick to the bottom of the jar with the sticker. Pour the melted wax into the jar, leaving one inch of room at the top.
  • Set the jars aside and allow them to cool down. (Jars not included, we recommend Mason Jars.)
